For centuries this eighteenth-century building was a rectory. Even today, to get here, you have to pass under the arch of the nearby church, a secret passage that leads to Pampucet’s gate which is the original one. Inside we wanted to preserve the marks of past centuries: the flooring that tells the passage of time, the cellars that contain a beautiful "infernot" and the old wine barrels, a small toilet along the stairs, the turrets.
The house features six guest rooms, each with a private bathroom, as well as welcoming shared spaces spread across several floors: two lounges on the ground floor, one on the first floor, and another on the second. Designed for relaxation and discovery, these inviting areas offer a selection of books, films, and music recommendations to enrich your stay.In the reception area, guests will also find a well-stocked library with guidebooks, local stories, and publications dedicated to the Monferrato region, providing the perfect introduction to its history, culture, and traditions.For maximum comfort, all windows are fitted with insect screens.
Pampucet is surrounded by a beautiful garden, home to a graceful weeping willow, colourful flowers, and a charming corner dedicated to aromatic herbs. Guests can relax at the outdoor tables or unwind on the sun loungers, taking in the beautiful views and embracing the art of slow living. On selected occasions, our cultural events are also held outdoors, overlooking the rolling hills of Monferrato. To make your stay even more enjoyable, the garden is protected by an innovative eco-friendly mosquito control system. By creating an effective barrier around the perimeter of the outdoor area, it helps keep mosquitoes and other insects at bay. This thoughtful addition allows guests to fully enjoy the garden in complete comfort, whether during the day or on warm summer evenings, surrounded by the beauty of the Monferrato landscape.
Welcome to our new swimming pool, a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature with breathtaking views over the rolling hills of Monferrato. Recently built, the pool is equipped with sun loungers, parasols, and a convenient outdoor shower to ensure maximum comfort for our guests. During the summer season—and, weather permitting, also in spring—it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy pleasant days in the open air.We kindly recommend confirming that the swimming pool will be open at the time of your reservation. The pool is for the exclusive use of our guests and is not supervised by a lifeguard. We therefore ask that it be used with the utmost care and attention. For your convenience, pool towels are provided in every room.We hope you will enjoy moments of pure relaxation while taking in the enchanting Monferrato hills that provide the perfect backdrop to our property.
